Andy and his team did an excellent job! They Sheetrock a wall and installed a double door that included a flush bolt on the top corner to lock one side of the door, a locking handle and a dummy handle to transform a game room to a bedroom. They matched the existing texture and painted both side of the wall and door. My son love it! Andy and his team completed the job in a timely manner and to our satisfaction. Andy was a pleasure to do business with an affordable price.

I recently had my attic converted into a new living space, and overall, I’m pleased with the results. The team did a solid job and took care to cover all the walkways to the work area, which kept my existing flooring safe from damage during the project. They stayed on schedule, completing the work in a timely manner without any major delays. They reinforced the floor joists to ensure the space was structurally sound, ran power for electrical needs, and installed air conditioning to make the room comfortable. The work was done well, and the new space is functional and useful. The crew cleaned up after themselves when the job was finished, leaving the area tidy. I’d recommend this team for an attic conversion, as they delivered a good outcome with professionalism and care.

Andy did an amazing job on my deck! His quote was less than others and his team was professional and did a great job! He went above and beyond and included items not originally in the quote to make sure it looked great. He was honest about what work needed to be done or not and has a civil engineering background so definitely knows what he is talking about! I don't usually take the time to write recommendations, but wanted to write one for AY Construction and Remodeling. From start to end we greatly appreciate the quality work completed. It start with Andy providing a detailed, written quote. It seems like other contractors just verbally provide a total amount and hopefully everyone agrees what was included. Once we agreed on which dates the work would be done, he and his crew showed up on time and ready to get the job done. The work completed included taking off wall paper and then texturing and painting both my dining room and kitchen. They completely sectioned off the rooms with plastic to prevent any over-spray and then cleaned up afterwards. I then requested some additional dry wall patch work and nail-hole pop fixes in my game room which Andy and crew completed still within the agreed amount of time. Thanks again Andy for getting the agreed work completed promptly and at a fair price!

He was timely as promised. Very courteous and kind like a family member. He finished building the cedar greenhouse perfectly. It was rather tedious to assemble. The weather wasn’t very cooperative either. I will hire him for any project in future. I highly recommend him for any job in future.

We used Andy (AY Construction) for a fairly large project on our home. It included painting the inside and outside of our home, staining our fence, repairing our stonework, cutting exposed tree roots and some additional items. We had Andy and team extend concrete on our patio and add do concrete stamping with Flagstone prints. Andy did meticulous planning and completed work. We had extreme hot weather days and his crew suffering sunstrokes which caused a few days of slowness. However, the work was complete and to our satisfaction.

We had 3 different projects done in our home by Amgad, we were very satisfied with the work that was done. The good thing is that the entire work was completed within a week as promised by Amgad. We had put in engineered hardwood flooring for our entire kitchen floor the finishing was very nice and we were happy with the work. I would liked to have more inputs on the type of hardwood we should have selected but overall very satisfied. The painting work done on our kitchen cabinets was very nice.Overall I would definitely hire Amgad for his work and craftmanship.

AY Contruction did a great job of fixing ALL of the cracks in our sheet rock. We had a big sewer leak and had to dig under the house 25 feet. After waiting six months for all of the cracks and sheet rock shifting, we had Andy come in and repair the damage. They were prompt and moved and replace all of the furniture after finishing the painting. We had a lot of torn wall paper which had to be removed and the walls textured. The cracks were caulked with high grade materials making a very neat job.

Andy and his crew did an excellent job on our driveway and storage shed base. The concrete work looks professional, and dealing with Andy was easy and pleasant. Does a great job on repairs. He is very reliable and brings a crew with him and watches every detail continually. My house was repainted on the inside and they fixed a large gap between my house and patio I have never had a contractor that is this great. AY Remodeling has clear vision from the beginning to end. He converted my formal dining into an extra room with French glass doors. My neighbors were surprised and praised the skill of the workmanship.

Amgad is a pro. Did install French doors for us, where Rough opening was not matching with the French doors size. He did additional work (wood, sheetrock, frame) to make the rough opening to fit the size of french door, and additional hardware, frame, and paint matching with other doors in the home. Final finish is Perfect. He is highly professional and recommend to others.

When I contacted Andy for help with a subfloor leveling project, he came out the same day in terrible weather to take a look at what we needed and provide an estimate. Even with all the supply chain issues, Andy had us fixed up within a week of my initial request. He was very communicative and reasonably priced. Probably the best experience dealing with any worker that I have had a long time. These days most contractors are difficult to get a hold of and overpriced due to high demand. Now imagine you come across someone who gives a reasonable price ( not cheap but not overpriced ....but then again you don't want cheap because you'll have to pay later to fix the cheap work), and then he does the work with the dedication and professionalism as if it was his own home. That in a sense summarizes Andy, a consumate perfectionist who will not stop until both he and you are truly satisfied! And I mean that literally. I pointed out something that needed correction around 9pm, both him and his painter stayed till 1am to make sure it was fixed to my liking and never complained once!!! You can't buy that type of dedication.I am adding before and after pics. The walls had to be brought in , door to be installed and painted and new walls needed to be texturized and painted. All done with superb quality !

Andy was very responsive in providing handyman services to a “senior” couple. My husband has mobility issues and I am not able to climb a ladder to clean ceiling fans, vents, replace bulbs, fire alarms batteries, and other items and or projects that would require his expertise. Most importantly his commitment to service us immediately (ASAP) if we have an emergency was paramount to us. He completed our first "honey do" list yesterday and he was professional, punctual and his quality of work was impressive. We look forward to engaging him quarterly for our handyman needs.

I called Andy to repair a 15 year old deck. I knew the deck had problems but not to what extent until he removed several boards. After some discussion I decided to let Andy do his thing. After removing the entire deck flooring he went to work trying to level the remaining substructure. I will spare all the details but Andy completely leveled the old substructure and replaced the decking with TREX.I do most of my own remodeling work but my health does not allow it any longer. Andy did the work far and above what I expected.His work ethics are outstanding and he will not accept final payment until the client is totally satisfied.
